Gratitude – Limerick Challenge

I’ve been wanting to take part in Limerick Challenge at Mind and Life Matters for weeks. And finally, I found some time to give it a try. Below is my first limerick and I hope you enjoy it 😉

Forever and ever she shall  be grateful

To the lady who was graceful

In ways beyond human conception

Who stirred her into action

To make her life more purposeful.

  1. “If autism’s linked in with diet,”
Her mother said, “why don’t we try it?”
    But nibbling on Gouda
    Just made her scream louder,
Though a nice piece of Brie kept her quiet.

“In the early 1990s, it was hypothesized that autism can be caused or aggravated by opioid peptides. Studies supporting these claims have shown significant flaws, so the data are inadequate to guide autism treatment recommendations

  2. Here’s another limerick. One that’s even seasonal. 🙂

    A JUICY SURPRISE

    With Christmas Day rapidly nearing
    And new peepholes daily appearing
    I suggested pyjamas
    But wound up with papayas
Forgotten she’s so hard of hearing
