In response to Mind and Life Matters limerick challenge.

Power is what his heart desired

because of which he was not at all admired

He tried to seize the crown

by making his fellows look like a clown

But after all, his master plans got backfired!

Have a great day!

  1. Love this! Too many times people try to “get the crown” by stepping on toes and burning bridges. That method only creates more enemies leaving you very much alone…what good is a crown when you can’t share it with anyone? Lovely piece! 🙂

  2. It’s so nice to find a limerick that isn’t about men from Nantucket!! I do like the poem though. Is it about anyone in particular or is it just about people in power in general?

    1. Haha 😀 Glad I gave you something new, other a man from Nantucket! Its’s no one in particular. I guess it fits for people who desire for power and use wrong means for it.

Thanks for dropping by. Have a great day!
