My Dear Friends or Foes or Strangers……

Since your curiosity has brought you here. I guess I’m required to let you know a few things about this person named Arcane Owl. But remember the universe is under no obligation to make sense to you and so am I – “The Child of the Universe”.

First of all, you might wonder why an owl, why not a dog, cat, sheep and the list goes on. Anyway I’ve chosen owl because it signifies deep connection with wisdom and intuitive knowledge. To me owls are the most beautiful birds with their beady eyes, surely feels like piercing through you. The shades of their feathers, are truly one of nature’s best work – I would say the best creation ever indeed ! As we know they are nocturnal, some are crepuscular as well. To me they seem to be well aware of the secrets of the universe for they are active when the whole world is lost in deep slumber. They can see through the blanket of darkness and are the witness to the mysteries that lurk at every corner, which has indeed made them wise beyond words.

In my blog “A Wayward Scribblez”, I’ll be sharing with you –  my thoughts, discoveries, musings, most importantly anything and everything under the sun and beyond. Moreover, I’ve  taken upon myself to explore the unknown and the magic of life, thereby to experience the true reality, beyond illusion and deceit. I know I’m young to be wise but I can assure you that I’m old enough to be not ignorant.

As someone once said, ” The first impression should be the best impression”. Surely I’ve made it better than the best. Sounds cocky, isn’t it ? Well, things are about to change for better or worse, drop by occasionally to be enlightened.

And the quest begins………

  1. Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog. I love listening to the pair of Great Horned Owls in the alley behind my house. Sometimes I can see them at night silhouetted against the sky at the top of a tree. We also have a Screech Owl that sometimes visits our bird bath in the summer. I haven’t managed to get decent photos of any of them yet but it’s great just having them around.

  2. I look forward to browsing your site. It is sure to be of fun and interest. I love owls, too, but I have to admit, when it comes to birds, I am partial to the hawk. They are beautiful and majestic, and just so free. And, very observant. Maybe that is why I connect with them, as I have often been told I am very observant. There is just something about them……………………..

Thought you might like to know a couple of years ago, on Halloween, no less, my youngest daughter had a white owl fly down and right across in front of her as she sat at a traffic light. I was jealous she saw that! Years ago, and interestingly enough directly AFTER I picked my daughter up from a Harry Potter opening night movie, as we entered our neighborhood, we had to come to a stop because there was an owl sitting directly in the middle of the road. He was fine. Just looking around. Beautiful when he flew off!
